Deputy Prime Minister Jörg Bode leads trade mission to Singapore and South Korea

Seoul, 08/27/2011

Jörg Bode, Minister for Economics, Labour and Transport of Niedersachsen, and a delegation of Niedersachsen business executives and state officials started a trade mission tour to Singapore and Seoul, South Korea.

Detlev Daues, CEO of the V-LINE Group, joint the mission in Seoul to identify the potential supply market for their international customers.
“We are in the decision making process how to establish a supply and sales channel in Korea” said Detlev Daues, “and this was a good opportunity to learn about the actual situation and business culture in Korea.”
South Korea achieved a tremendous development over the past 30 years but the domination of the Chaebols especially in international business is still fact and the development of small and medium size companies would create a wider support to the economic base.
The cooperation exchange in Seoul, company visits and other networking events led to a variety of new business contacts.
