V-LINE Global Sales Force Summit

Sehnde, Germany 30 August ,2005. V-LINE EUROPE GmbH gathered all their managers and partners from USA, Mexico, China, Brazil and the Middle East for a one week summit at V-LINE campus next to the head office in Sehnde. The complete week was used to network and to fine tune the V-LINE value proposition to different market requirements.

A 3-day formal conference, under the banner "Winning - Through High Performance Teams” had tracks on logistics and strategic vendor relations as well as sessions for each region. During the second day a Harvard Business School faculty seminar,  featuring Ben Shapiro on “Sprint Selling in the new Era” was shown as a video presentation for round table discussion. 

In his welcoming remarks, V-LINE CEO Detlev Daues said “Entrepreneurial behavior is required from all our people who want to make a difference in MRO Cross Border Supply, those in the field and the home office”.“This is the process by which individuals pursue opportunity without resources under their current control. It is the extra step we go to keep us in Position No.1,” he said.

The week was concluded with an end-of-the-summer barbeque for the employees and their families. 130 adults and 30 children enjoyed the fun, activities and good food. The soccer match Germany versus the Rest of the World was won by the team including Mexico, Brazil and China with their fast moving style.
