V-LINE EUROPE hosts global branch offices at Sales Force Meeting 2010 in Germany

Under the banner ”It’s Maze Time!“ the V-LINE GROUP headquarters management and team leaders met in Adendorf near Lüneburg on December 8th and during the following conference days hosted branch managers and key staff members from the group’s offices in Saudi Arabia China, Mexico, Brazil and the USA.
This meeting of 30 participants was organized to establish the groundwork for planning of the next stage of growth to take V-LINE to a higher level.
The group learned from each other about their specific competences in the individual market areas they served and informed their colleagues about the latest customer developments. In sessions led by home office team leaders, discussion focused on transferability and extension of the existing business models globally across the whole group.
“By establishing local offices we have created a good basis to be close to the customer and to understand what their needs are and develop and expand our services portfolio accordingly”, said Detlev Daues, Managing Director of the V-LINE GROUP.
“Thematic extension as well as an increase of the human resources is just one of the logical consequences to result from our conference”, reported Klaus Menzel, General Manager of V-LINE EUROPE GmbH. “Further potentials for improving our efficiency and increasing customer added value have been brought out and are waiting development now. We have some homework to do”, he said, “and we are looking forward to the new challenges of 2011 with a highly motivated team.”
After a tight daily schedule the participants in the evenings had many chances to extend the relationships between the regional front offices and the back office. The mix of nationalities enjoyed an indoor golf competition, and a visit to the Christmas Market in historic Lüneburg Old Town. Winter weather showed its literal side and visitors from South America and Saudi Arabia who experienced snow for the first time were not the only ones tightening their coat collars.
