After finishing my high school exam I took a seven-month break for Work & Travel in Australia. Following that I studied project management for infrastructure and logistics. After a year, I noticed how much I liked the fields of business administration, mathematics and English and I wanted to develop those interests. Unfortunately, my studies didn‘t offer this opportunity, because my subject focus was on engineering.
I applied to V-LINE for an apprenticeship in wholesale and foreign trade, because the international character of the company and the combination of practice and theory were very appealing to me.
Since finishing my vocational training I am working in the logistic department for customer support. V-LINE offers an international work environment. I like the direct contact with our customers and suppliers in German, English or sometimes French. During my apprenticeship, I learned a lot about internal structures and external networks that prepared me for my daily work now and my future advancement.
