The mix between physical work and working on the PC was important to me.

After graduating from middle school, I wanted to start an apprenticeship. I was already able to get to know V-LINE in a previous internship and therefore decided to apply here. The mix between physical work and working on the PC was important to me; the training as a warehouse logistics specialist is therefore perfect because I can develop further in both fields. Versatile and varied activities make the training very exciting and due to the always changing goods, no day is like the other. The training and support provided by the various trainers is particularly good. I really like the team spirit and the working atmosphere – for example, we occasionally order pizza during the lunch break. Of course, the above-standard salary and the benefits should not be ignored.

V-LINE made it possible for me to become a trainer, so that I now supervise new apprentices.

The company drew me from my hometown to Sehnde because of its internationality and diverse opportunities for further development during and after my apprenticeship.

I especially remember the first days in a new department; that was always very exciting and thrilling. Projects such as the fruit box or the presentation in the 2nd year of apprenticeship also stand out to me. V-LINE promotes its apprentices through internal and external training on various topics which I have benefited a lot from.

Even during my apprenticeship, V-LINE offered me a lot of flexibility through flexible working hours and mobile working. I now work in one of our purchasing/sales departments which serves one of our largest customers. I like the diversified tasks and the communication with colleagues, customers and suppliers in various languages. In 2021, V-LINE made it possible for me to become a trainer, so that I now supervise new apprentices.

During the apprenticeship at V-LINE, you already acquire a solid expertise. Now I’m continuing to deepen my expertise and I’m always happy to learn something new.

Apprenticeship, a year abroad at V-LINE USA, participation in “You Grow, We Grow”: V-LINE has supported my further development since I started my apprenticeship.

When I started my apprenticeship as management assistant in wholesale and foreign trade at V-LINE in August 2016, I was very interested in the international aspect of the V-LINE GROUP. I enjoy getting in contact with people spread all over the world. During my 2,5-year apprenticeship, I learned in and about many different departments and therefore know exactly how each part fits together, so to speak. The work is complex, but very varied and challenges you every day. I am grateful that V-LINE supported me as an apprentice in every way possible, for example by supporting my internship abroad in London. And just a few months after my successful graduation, I had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to switch to V-LINE USA for 12 months. In addition, I was able to further develop myself in V-LINE’s 1-year development program “You Grow – We Grow” in topics such as finance, communication, new work or self-management. V-LINE has supported my further development since I started my apprenticeship – and it still does.

// APPRENTICESHIP MANAGER

Isabelle Hutschenreuter

“As apprenticeship manager for all areas, I am happy to oversee the development of our trainees. It’s fun to accompany their successes, to provide help and advice, and to find the right department to take them on at the end of their training. It’s important to me that the trainees enjoy coming to work, learn a lot and are optimally prepared for their exams by the trainers in the individual departments. We also offer exciting joint trainee events and regularly hold team-building events to ensure that everyone feels well received from day one.
I’m looking forward to more great candidates!”
