V-LINE EUROPE and the German Handball Bundesliga club DIE RECKEN – TSV Hannover-Burgdorf are joining forces.

The internationally active company headquartered in Sehnde will become a partner of the Lower Saxony first-division team.

DIE RECKEN are among the most well-known handball teams in Germany and compete in the Daikin Handball Bundesliga, the strongest handball league in the world. With around 9,000 fans at every home game and a strong regional presence, the club provides an ideal platform to connect with people locally.

V-LINE EUROPE, headquartered in Sehnde near Hanover, has been a global service provider for MRO spare parts procurement for more than 45 years. The company supports industrial customers from its international locations in Germany, the USA, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and South Korea and employs more than 250 people worldwide, including more than 150 in Sehnde. Through this partnership, V-LINE aims to further strengthen its presence in the region and attract new talent to the company.

Torben Kietsch, Head of Marketing and Sponsoring at DIE RECKEN, emphasizes the spirit of the new collaboration: “Partnerships are built on trust, shared values and enthusiasm for what you do. That is exactly why we are very excited about the start of our collaboration with V-LINE EUROPE GmbH. Together, we not only want to bring the emotions of handball and DIE RECKEN to life, but also help present V-LINE as a strong and attractive employer brand.”

For V-LINE, the partnership is primarily focused on reaching talent in the region. Arne Hartmann, Chief Human Resources Officer of the V-LINE GROUP, explains: “As a global company headquartered in Sehnde, we want to show that exciting opportunities in an international environment are possible right here locally. Together with DIE RECKEN, we aim to inspire talented individuals to become part of the V-LINE team.”

Janine Katzwinkel, Head of Marketing & PR at V-LINE EUROPE, also sees great potential in the collaboration: “DIE RECKEN reach a strong target audience in the Hanover region and beyond, especially through their digital channels and social media. This gives us the ideal platform to increase V-LINE’s visibility as an attractive employer. At the same time, our colleagues also benefit from the partnership: for every home game, we raffle tickets internally and create shared experiences around handball.”

The combination of top-level sport and an internationally active company with strong regional roots creates new opportunities to connect with people in the region and generate new momentum together.
